Frequently Asked Questions

Question not answered? Get in touch with us at the bottom of the page.

How long do the brownies keep for?

Our brownies keep for 10 days at room temperature and 2 weeks in the fridge.

How many people do they serve?

We recommend allowing around 2-3 bites per person (or 3-4 if they really love brownies!).

- 24-bite box: 6-8 people
- 16-bite box: 4-6 people
- 12-bite box: 3-4 people

Can the brownies be frozen?

Yes, our brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months.

How many calories are in the brownies?

All brownies boxes come with an insert that displays ingredients and nutritional information. If you'd like to find out more before ordering, please get in touch with Customer Services.

What allergens are there in the brownies?

All our regular brownies contain milk, eggs, gluten, and soya, with possible traces of nut. Our wheat-free and vegan brownies contain soya.

Do you offer gluten-free brownies?

Not at the moment – while our vegan wheat-free brownies contain no gluten ingredients, we cannot label them 'gluten-free' because they are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, eggs, and dairy. Our wheat-free brownies are not suitable for coeliacs or those with other severe gluten allergies.

Are your brownies suitable for those with nut allergies?

No, they aren't – we aren't a nut-free kitchen, so traces of nuts are impossible to avoid. This includes our 'No Nuts, No Problem' box, which is intended for people who dislike nuts, but aren't allergic.

Are your brownies halal?

Our brownies are always vegetarian unless stated otherwise.

Our Jaffa Cake brownies use a syrup in the recipe that contains a small amount of alcohol.

The gold shimmer that is used on our salted caramel and hazelnut brownies contains alcohol as the propellant, but this evaporates after application so there should be no alcohol left in the final product.

Can I change the flavours in the box?

No, we can't currently offer custom boxes.

Can I pick a specific delivery day?

We can occasionally accomodate requests for delivery on a specific day – please get in touch with Customer Services before placing your order. For larger occasions like Christmas, we usually offer a pre-order service.

Do you offer discount codes?

Yes, if you are signed up to our mailing list.

Can I partially redeem a gift voucher?

If the value of your voucher exceeds the cost of your order, you will be credited with the remainder to use on your next order. You cannot select a specific value to redeem on your order.

When will my order be delivered?

Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday will be delivered the next working day. Orders placed after that time might still be dispatched the same day for next day delivery but will most likely be dispatched the next day instead.

Orders placed after 2pm on Friday or over the weekend will most likely be delivered on Tuesday (we may still dispatch items on Friday after 2pm the same day if we can in which case they may arrive as soon as Monday but this is not guaranteed).

Please note on rare occasions, orders placed on Friday might be delivered on a Saturday. This is out of our control and in the hands of our trusted DPD drivers who, very occasionally, may get a little ahead of themselves and deliver your parcel earlier.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout the UK.

Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate requests for deliveries outside of the UK.

Is the delivery date guaranteed?

Unfortunately, we can't guarantee delivery dates as unforeseen circumstances (such as adverse weather conditions or delays en route) can occur.

Do you offer returns?

Our brownies, amazing as they are, are perishable items and unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund once out for delivery. However, please do contact us if you have any problems and we will see what we can do to resolve the problem.

My brownies arrived damaged – what should I do?

Should your order(s) arrive damaged and/or defective, we ask that you send photo evidence of this to info@badbrownie.co.uk and our team will proceed accordingly.
