Currently, our brownie bars and any orders destined for Northern Ireland, certain areas of Scotland including Highlands, and Islands are delivered by Royal Mail.

Please be aware Royal Mail are doing their best during the current circumstances, but don't worry we're dispatching orders as normal.

      Next Working Day Delivery

Orders must be placed before 2pm on a working day (Mon - Fri exc bank holidays) to qualify for next working day delivery.

Any orders placed after 2pm will most likely be dispatched the next working day although we try to fulfil orders as soon as possible so it might be that orders after 2pm manage to be shipped the same day.

Orders placed after 2pm on Thursday will most likely be dispatched on Friday for delivery on Monday (in rare instances we may ship them on Thursday for delivery Friday). If Monday is a bank holiday then delivery will be on Tuesday.

Orders placed over the weekend (including bank holidays) and after 2pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday (we may ship some orders placed on Friday after 2pm on the same day if we can) on normal weeks, or if Monday is a bank holiday then they will be shipped Tuesday for Wednesday.

Please note on rare occasions, orders placed on Friday might be delivered on a Saturday. This is out of our control and in the hands of our trusted DPD drivers who, very occasionally, may get a little ahead of themselves and deliver your parcel earlier.

While we ship on a weekday overnight service, and 97% of parcels arrive the next working day, this is not a guaranteed service as sometimes there are unforeseen delays (see below).

      Before 12pm Delivery

Orders must be placed before 2pm on a working day to qualify for next working day delivery before 12pm.

Any orders placed after 2pm or at the weekend or a bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day.

Orders placed over the weekend and after 2pm on Friday will be shipped on Monday to arrive on Tuesday before 12pm. If there is a bank holiday then orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.

Do you deliver at the weekend?

At the moment we don't offer standard delivery at the weekend. If you would like your brownies to arrive at the weekend, please email us, info@badbrownie.co.uk, and we can give you a quote for the postage.

      Is my delivery date guaranteed?

Unfortunately, we can't guarantee your order will arrive on a specific day. This is because unforeseen events can occur, such as adverse weather conditions or delays en route.

What if I am not in?

Our couriers will not be able to leave items in a safe place unless they are specifically instructed to do so. You must do this by either informing us in advance, or the quickest and easiest way if so your to click on the tracking link that will be sent to your mobile number from DPD and you can request for the item to be left with a neighbour or safe place.

Please note we do not leave items in a safe place by default and if there is no one available to answer the door to the courier more than twice, the items will be destroyed and cannot be refunded. So, it is really important you check your DPD tracking and take appropriate preventative action if you will not be able to accept the delivery.

      Who are your couriers?

For orders in England, Wales, and some parts of Scotland, your order will be delivered by DPD.

You'll receive a text message and email on the morning of your delivery, confirming your one-hour delivery window.

For orders in Northern Ireland, Highlands, and Islands, your order will be delivered by Royal Mail (Tracked 24) and can take up to 3 days to arrive.

Brownie bars will be delivered by Royal Mail (Tracked 24) and can take up to 3 days to arrive.

      Anything else I should know?

Our packages (with the exception of our brownie bars) are slightly too big to fit through standard letter boxes. Therefore, you'll need someone to be home to receive the order. We can also arrange for your parcel to be left in a safe place but we need authorisation to do this.

Please include a phone number for the recipient or yourself to receive delivery updates. If you do not, we cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries or instances where the deriver has not been able to locate an address.

Please make sure the delivery address is correct. Once our brownies have been dispatched we are unable to change the address and you may incur a charge if we need to create a new shipping label. Please double check your postcode and first line of address, especially if you are paying using a third party provider like Apple Pay, or Paypal etc who sometimes change the chipping address to a default delivery address on your account or a last used address. These are beyond our control and therefore all addresses must be double checked by yourself before confirming the order.

      Do you deliver abroad?

Unfortunately, due to Brexit, we are no longer able to deliver to Europe.

My brownies are damaged – what should I do?

Should your order(s) arrive damaged and/or defective, please send photo evidence of this to info@badbrownie.co.uk and our team will proceed accordingly.
