5 Ways To Celebrate Veganuary

What is Veganuary?

A portmanteau of ‘vegan’ and ‘January’, Veganuary is an event and non-profit organisation that encourages people to try out veganism every January. The first Veganuary was held in 2014, with 12,800 people participating. Since then the movement has grown considerably, with over 582,000 people signing up to the challenge in 2021.

How to celebrate Veganuary (with brownies!)

1. Treat yourself to something delicious.

Let's face it, changing your diet is hard so it's worth keeping yourself motivated with something tasty. Our Vegan Brownie Bites Box will hit all the right sweet spots, with super-rich and indulgent flavours like Oreo Cookie Dough, Salted Caramel, Biscoff and more. These bite-sized, plant-based squares are super moist and gooey (just like our main range), as any good brownie should be.

2. Try some vegan baking.

Our vegan mug brownie kit is a low-effort and ridiculously delicious way to try your hand at some quick 'n' easy vegan baking. Simply add your brownie mix to a mug, throw in some plant milk and plant butter, and microwave! With three more-ish flavours on offer (Biscoff, Salted Caramel, and Chocolate Orange), this kit is also perfect for having to hand when the midnight hungries hit.

3. Send a random act of (vegan) kindness.

January can be a drag for many, but our brownies and brew bundle makes the perfect pick-me-up – especially when working from home! This gift set features our Vegan Wheat-Free Brownie Bites Box, which holds some of our more exotic flavours like Coconut & Passionfruit, plus your choice of either Teapigs tea or Notes premium ground coffee.

4. Plan a vegan dinner.

There's an abundance of vegan dinner ideas online – but if you fancy something a little simpler, look no further than our latest collaboration with the NYC-inspired restaurant Dirty Bones. The Ultimate Veganuary Kit features two Dirty Vegan burgers, fries, and our vegan mug brownie kit, featuring a limited-edition 'Bad to the Bones' mug.

5. Host a vegan movie night.

Make the most of chilly January days with a cosy get-together, like a movie night – and, naturally, no movie night is complete without snacks. Try your hand at making the ultimate caramel popcorn with our Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce. Simply stir the sauce into your popcorn until evenly coated, then bake in the oven until the caramel has hardened and turned crispy (approx. 30 minutes).
